Sound therapy employs music in a listening system based on new knowledge about the effect of sound upon the brain. Most of the sounds heard in the world today are "discharging" sounds, draining the brain of vital energy. Sound Therapy is a method of beneficially recharging the cortex of the brain.
Classical music, especially chosen, is recorded at a high frequency through a device called the Electronic Ear. While listening, energy is released and distributed throughout the nervous system. The wide variety of healing effects that are experienced are due to the action of the sound upon these vital centres.
Documented results include:
- Easier more efficient sleep. Sleeping time shortened by 2-3 hours a night.
- New vitality and sense of well being.
- Relief of tiredness and stress.
- Deep relaxation and relief of anxiety, with consequent healing of stress-related disorders such as high blood pressure, hypertension, digestive problems.
- Improved hearing, restoration of hearing loss due to aging.
- Relief of disorders stemming from imbalance of inner ear fluid; nausea, dizziness, tinnitus.
- Alleviations of stammering and other speech defects.
- Help for dyslexia, autism, hyperactivity and behavioral problems in children.
- Weight loss. Slowing of metabolism and easing of stress creates a natural appetite.
- Heightened creativity and mental capacity.
- Improvement of memory, concentration and learning ability.
Sound Therapy is complex in principle, and entirely simple in practice. It consists of listening to specially recorded CD’s through headphones, on quality equipment that reaches a frequency of 14,000 hertz, for up to three hours a day.
The music is pleasant to hear, but need not be listened to consciously, and the person can therefore engage in all usual activities while absorbing the healing sound at low volume. Rather than taking time, it adds time to the day as a result of the new, shortened, concentrated sleep, and ultimately it is believed will add years to the life.
